The cheeky magpie has one of Australia’s most colourful personalities. Their carolling calls are a beatuiful part of the dawn chorus, often starting well before sunrise. They are highly intelligent and very playful, whether it be games with other magpies, messing about with pebbles and sticks, or simply getting into mischief.
